Here is my last poem for the day, Poem #12, written in celebration of National Poetry Writing Month. It’s called “I’ll Meet You At the Next Full Moon” and the inspiration is from Spirit. Enjoy!

Also, just a reminder that, you too are invited to this week  of titanium wrapped, diamond soaked, and gold dipped, poetry packed, writing!

So join me! The challenge is simple: write one poem a day, or more, inspired by whatever comes to your heart or prompts posted by me.

Any brave souls that would like their poem posted on my blog, in celebration of National Poetry Writing Month, can send their poem into me, using the comment form on the join the conversation page. For every day that poems are sent to me, one of the 3 poems I post for the day will be a guest poem. I look forward to sharing with you all in the celebration of the music of poetry.

I’ll Meet You At the Next Full Moon

What color will you wear

And what scent will you carry

How will your hair hang

And your neck dangle

Which angle will the sun roast your skin

And the dawn mist your eyes

How long will you take

To meet my gaze

And know that it’s me

How many days will I watch

As you stubbornly wait alone

In vain

For those who give no virtue

And have no strength

I am standing here

And waiting

To meet you at the next full moon
