Shattered windows

Blown out from

cemented tip toes

Creeping throughout

Sabotaged spirit flows

Blocking the pathway

Of my visual perception

Setting fire to the basement

Of my souls recollection

Sowing, secretly and silently

A view like of blurred vision

Aiding in plowing

A misdirected mission

Blinded and bonded

Without my permission

I fought storm, cloud and gray

Lightening and thunder, at bay

Until the drizzle finally sizzled

And the wind wound down

Setting growth to the seeds

Planted after the weeds

Cleansed from a lifetime of cries

I can FINALLY see

Through new eyes

Seeing Through New Eyes
